Don’t get sidetracked by worldly things or doctrines. Your focus should be on Christ. As easy as it is to have a temper tantrum, to stop reading the word or to stop going to church; we have to keep our minds stayed on Christ and the things of God. The word says we are more than conquerors. The word says that all things work together for our good. But in order for it to work in our favor, we have to give it to God. We have to retain our composure and do and say according to the word. We have to keep our mind off our storms and on the promises of God. Don’t worry about what you lack or what you appear to be losing. Remember you are complete in Him.
Everything you need, God is already providing. There is no lack in God. Lack only exists in impatience. Remember that God’s timing is perfect. Remember that there is no good thing He will withhold from you. Remember that the storm, this storm, any storm is only temporary.
Before lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is head of all principality and power. - Colossians 2: 8-10
